Atmel ATmega328P-PU Microcontroller
This is an ATmega328P-PU in a DIP package. It comes without a bootloader pre-loaded.
To get this chip working with Arduino IDE, you will need an external 16MHz crystal or resonator, a 5V supply, and a serial connection. You will also need to load the bootloader onto it (or ask us to do it before we send it to you).
The Atmel ATMega328P-PU 8-Bit Processor in 28 pin DIP package comes with 32K of program space, 23 I/O lines (6 of which are channels for the 10-bit ADC), runs up to 20MHz with external crystal and can be programmed in circuit.
